Worse Than Dynamite Home-made hookch,(aUo known as "white mule") in fact any al-colfollc beverage not made by ex perienced uianuiacturerB, It worse than dynamite. It produces nerve arid brain irritation, causing worse man oraio storms, u ruins the stomach and Intestinal tracts, but what Is worse, it causes deteriora tion oi mo umio Drain cells and makes the person so afflicted irresponsible. Home-made liquor, mud km more or less accurate reoipes, Is daneeroua in tne extreme, it. la not aged ; It is the ageing of whis key that eliminates the poisons. In the making of maah from which whiskey Is extracted, several alco hols are produced. One of these, butyl or fusel oil, la highly poison ous. UjIJ ageing will eliminate this oil. Its presence In whiskey causes nerve and brain paralysis. .... 1 . All noma crew is improperly made and not aged and la danger ous in the extreme. There is a startling affinity between alcohol and the brain and nerve cells, and home-made whiskeys and other alcoholic drinks are certain to af fect the brain and the spinal cord with its attendant consequences. Let me say again, and most emphatically, home-made drinks and synthetio beverages, that is, those made from chemicals, are worse than dynamite. Dr.S. Dr.S.
