Subscribe for the County Court Proceedings' The members of the County Court met Monday as the Board of Appeals to hear complaints on the assessment of merchants and manufacturers of the County. ; No I complaints ware filed and there fore no changes were ordered made, . Tuesday the County Court con vened and transacted business as follows: In order to accommodate citizens of the County residing west of the Gasconade river in the Hope vi cinity, the court ordered the es tablishment of a new voting precinct at the Mud Creek school house, said precinct to. be known as Mud Creek precinct and being located in- Boulware township. The County will now have nineteen voting precincts. It was ordered that the petition of C. H. Buddeineyer ot al praying for the submission lo the voters.1 of the question of a two year closed season on quails, be ' sub mitted to the voters at the general election, November 2. Ic wbb decided to pay the Coun ty Health Commissioner $5 for each school he examines, and that he shall receive no mileage pay. This is in accord with an agree ment reached between the court and the Health Commissioner, Dr. E. L. Haffner. . A survey was ordered made of a new public road at , Chas. Uli-mann's farm east of Woollam, also of new road near Y. B. Meyer's store near Bay . Consideration of the John H. Blele et al petition for si ohange ot public road In Clay township was oontlcuod to the November term of oourt. The new road from Coles Creel to Gasconade, petitioned for by Hy, Schmidt, A. Budoick et al., was ordered opened, as was the ohange of public road petitioned for by H. W. Heidbreder et al in In Clay township. Graf. Mrs. Hollandsworth Is the widow of the late I. Ridenhour and is well known and highly respected in the Owensvlllo and Uem neign-borhoods. Mr. Hollandsworth is equally well known and liked, having made his home with the Ridenhours for the past nineteen years. Since the death of Mr. Ridenhour he has been running the place for his widow and these worthy people have now decided to enter a life partnership. In this county. At the recent convention of all county advielry boards in tho State, It was agreed by the delegates present that this county raise $750.00. The financial campaign will be held tho week of October '3rd. The following committees were named at the meeting: Campaign committee Entire membership of the advisory board. Advance gifts committco Kebt. Walker, chairman. Advisory com mittee same. Organization committee Judge Theo. Graf, chairman; A. 0. Mann, John M. Schermann, S. L. Cant ley, E. At the recent State Convention, tha dooision of every county to avail itself of Salvation Army fa cilities followed discussion, and the reading of reports on the social and moral conditions of the state, which were so startling in their nature as to cause a demand for immediate action. The Advisory Board is perma np'nt and at the conclusion of the campaign will continue to operate for the good of the county as the active agencies co-operating with the Salvation Army and through whir.h the Atrav will extend its service. . In this county. At the recent convention of all county advielry boards in tho State, It was agreed by the delegates present that this county raise $750.00. The Advisory Board is perma np'nt and at the conclusion of the campaign will continue to operate for the good of the county as the active agencies co-operating with the Salvation Army and through whir.h the Atrav will extend its service. .
