R. Sa-pirlo, manager of the AEC's Oak Ridge, Tenn Operations. The total cost of the program Is estimated at approximately $67,000,000. It involves construction of a now facility in the St. Louis area and expansion of existing facilities at the Feed Materials Production Center at Fcrnald, Ohio; the feod materials facilities at St. Louis; and the feed plant at the gaseous diffusion plant at Padu-cah, Kentucky. The function of the St. Louis and Kc-mald materials plants is to convert high-grade uranium ore and concentrates into highly puri-. fled uranium compounds or metal. The Pudueah facilities will contribute to the Commission's capacity to convert uranium into forms useful to its program. Ukbrmfc: Two Older Men Get Joil Sentence-Two Youths to Algoo Two wayward girls who took an 11-year-old sister along with them and ran away in a stolen car were arrested by the Highway Patrol at Wayncsvillc and brought to Union last Saturday. Details of their story as told to authorities involved two youths and two men from Sullivan, who were later arrested and booked on a charge of lewd and lascivious conduct. The girls are Mary Ruby Walls, 15, Mae Louise Ruwscll, 14, and her little sister, Mildred Joan Russell, 11, all of Bourbon. They left in a 1950 Chevrolet car belonging to Charles Ren nick of Sullivan, which they took from the International Shoe Company parking lot. Previously they had outfitted themselves with lovis and sweaters taken from Shear's Department Store In Sullivan and scarfs, billfolds and sunglawfa taken from the Ben Franklin Store. The car theft was discovered when they wrecked the car f Waynesville. Deputy sheriff 'Kd Bailey brought them from Waynesville after notified by the Highway Patrol. R. Sa-pirlo, manager of the AEC's Oak Ridge, Tenn Operations. The total cost of the program Is estimated at approximately $67,000,000. It involves construction of a now facility in the St. Louis area and expansion of existing facilities at the Feed Materials Production Center at Fcrnald, Ohio; the feod materials facilities at St. Louis; and the feed plant at the gaseous diffusion plant at Padu-cah, Kentucky. The function of the St. Louis and Kc-mald materials plants is to convert high-grade uranium ore and concentrates into highly puri-. fled uranium compounds or metal. The Pudueah facilities will contribute to the Commission's capacity to convert uranium into forms useful to its program. Ukbrmfc: Two Older Men Get Joil Sentence-Two Youths to Algoo Two wayward girls who took an 11-year-old sister along with them and ran away in a stolen car were arrested by the Highway Patrol at Wayncsvillc and brought to Union last Saturday. Details of their story as told to authorities involved two youths and two men from Sullivan, who were later arrested and booked on a charge of lewd and lascivious conduct. The girls are Mary Ruby Walls, 15, Mae Louise Ruwscll, 14, and her little sister, Mildred Joan Russell, 11, all of Bourbon. They left in a 1950 Chevrolet car belonging to Charles Ren nick of Sullivan, which they took from the International Shoe Company parking lot. Previously they had outfitted themselves with lovis and sweaters taken from Shear's Department Store In Sullivan and scarfs, billfolds and sunglawfa taken from the Ben Franklin Store. The car theft was discovered when they wrecked the car f Waynesville. Deputy sheriff 'Kd Bailey brought them from Waynesville after notified by the Highway Patrol.
